Debra Driza

MILA 2.0 is a “Bourne Identity”-type sci-fi thriller series about a teenage girl who discovers that she is a Mobile Intel Life-like Android, an experiment in artificial intelligence created by the U.S. government, and her scientist mother, who kidnapped her when she was found to have human emotions.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Debra Driza has climbed the ancient Mayan pyramids in Mexico, swum with stingrays in the Cayman Islands, and hopes to one day run with the bulls in Pamplona.  To train for that event, Debra chases after her two turbo-powered kids, her wannabe lion-hounds (Ridgebacks), and her slightly dysfunctional Rottweiler —usually with limited success.  She thinks cleaning and maturity are severely overrated, which probably explains her disaster-zone purses and the inability to act—or have any desire to act—her age. Debra has a B.A. in History, an M.S. in Physical Therapy, and a Ph.D. in Yummy Eating. She resides in her native Southern California with her husband and said kids/doggage.
